Baby Blessing

Emma had her baby blessing last week.  We were so lucky to have Gramma and Aunt Chrissy in town.  Tom did a great job.

This month keeps getting better.  First a fun road trip to St. George, then a visit from Tom's mom and sister.  Emma was spoiled rotten.

Our wonderful week did not not start out without a glitch however.  Unfortunately, a little cat-nap turned into a missed flight.  After sobbing hysterics, the help of a very patient boyfriend, a loving dog, a small fee to Delta Airlines, and 13 hours of flying across the country, Chrissy finally met Emma.

Gramma was not far behind.

We visited the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point and all though there were no tulips, we had a great time walking around.

Of the 250,000 tulips in the 55 acre gardens, these were the only tulips in bloom.

These two crazy kids.  They stayed up every night watching zombie movies.

It was not all rainbows and sunbeams for Emma.  She had to get a bath.  It went much quicker for her though, giving an infant a bath with 6 hands is much easier then my amateur two.

I can't seem to figure out how to rotate the above picture.  I rotated in Iphoto just fine, but it wouldn't rotate in Blogger.

Saturday was a relaxing day of pedicures for the girls and yard work (not so relaxing but sunny!).  Tom put Chrissy to work painting the once red chest black.  It is not quite done but it is looking pretty good.

The highlight of the week was Emma's baby blessing, I will have a separate post on that but for a little preview...

Having guests in the house means we have enough players for Settlers of Catan.  It was my lucky week!
